数控技术应用专业是2003年教育部批准的首批二年制试点专业。培养具有与本专业领域方向相适应的文化水平与素质、具有良好的职业道德和创新精神，掌握本专业领域方向的技术知识，具备相应实践技能以及较强的实际工作能力，熟练掌握数控加工工艺和数控加工程序编制，熟练进行数控、加工设备的操作和维护的生产第一线技术应用型专门人才。学生在校期间能够获得部级数控车工、数铣工或加工中心中、高级职业资格证书。

本专业招收高中生和中职生，学制两年。

This major is the first 2-year experimental major by Ministry of Education in 2003. the major teaches & trains out the professional person with good professional qualification & culture skills, application skills, program making skills for numerical processing and operation & maintenance skills for numerical machines. The students may be issued the middle/high qualification certificate by ministry numerical lathe operating, milling or processing center.

The major takes in high school students and vocational school students. The semesters are 2 years.
